Rick Berger has 20 years of experience teaching English, History, and Psychology in the US, South Korea, and Japan. He taught composition at Kansai Gaidai University in Japan and the Catholic University of Korea and lived in East Asia for a total of 12 years. Presently, he teaches at Williams College and the University of Massachusetts and is starting a non-profit foundation in his hometown of North Adams, MA. He has trained counselors, teachers, collegiate debaters, and co-workers in various businesses and schools over his 30 year career. He has been blessed to circumnavigate the world and travel extensively in Eastern, Southern, and Western Asia as well as Europe.

Piper Panzeri brings over two decades of diverse and professional academic, business, and non-profit experience to PenChic. As a former Specialist for the Business Division of Apple, Inc., she presented business clients with key technology solutions, drove strategy, and bridged the worlds of retail, corporate, and business development. Piper is a seasoned educator with two decades of experience as English faculty at private boarding schools in New England. In 2010, she piloted the experiential leadership component of Afghan Youth Initiative, an Afghan NGO in Kabul.
